A web tool created and designed to facilitate and save time.

Manually editing item groups can be tedious, looking up vnums, names, indexes... It's time-consuming and frustrating.
SIG Creator automates and streamlines that process, saving you time and hassle.

I have been tempted in the past to make this web tool but I never had the chance, but it's finally done!

More Information

• This web tool uses the latest available protos shared on M2Dev
• There are currently 11 languages available to switch between.
  • If you want to contribute in adding more languages or if you find any issues on current translations don't hesitate to contact me or reply on this topic.
• This tool is only focused on special item group, `special_item_group.txt`.
• There is support for multiple drop types, you can find more information about them on the FAQ below the group type selection field.
• Easily import/export item groups with support for preserving group names.

Finally, please take in consideration that this web tool is new and currently on a beta version, if you find any minority, please report the issue.

Want to host the tool yourself?

If you want to run this locally, you'll need a web server. You can use something like WAMP or XAMPP.

1. Convert item icons.
   1. Copy all item icons (.tga) to `share/icon/item`
   2. Run the `conv.py` script inside the `share/icon/item` to convert all `.tga` files to `.png` (pillow library required)
      Make sure you have Python installed, then install Pillow using the command `pip install pillow`
2. Add item data.
   1. Add item names (`item_names.txt`) and descriptions (`itemdesc.txt`) in the `share/locale/*` folders.
   2. Add item list (`item_list.txt`) file in `share/locale/` folder.
3. Configure the app.
   1. Open `include/config.php` and replace `APP_URL` with the URL where your tool will be hosted.

First of all thanks for your tool 
I had already tried to write something similar in C# but your tool is of cause much better.

Here are a few suggestions for improvement:
- Resetting the search after adding the item (maybe with a check box if the function is needed?)
- A comment how the item is called in the item_names at the end for better overview Example: 1 21075 1 100 -- Example Item
- below in the display of the group with item_icon the item_names still in addition

• Updated Proto V24.0.4.0
• Fixed issue while showing the item names as comments on the group.
• Fixed issue with item icons not showing properly when importing a group.
• Fixed minor disorder issue on the data table.
• Added option to keep the original gold and experience Korean strings.
• Added option to enable ANSI Encoding.
• Added a drag and drop feature to make group organization and editing easier.
• Added option to save the imported group name, this will prevent the group name from being overridden when importing a group.

No, it's free to use and now open source.
