downgrading directx9 to directx8

Hello guys, after trying to compile the novaline binary I got errors after errors and I got tired and tried to find something else...

Then I found a good binary with updated libs but it has a little problem : the minimap isn't showing on AMD graphics cards

 

 

Someone said that the error can be solved by downgrading the directx. I got the lib and include folders from the SDK and I replaced anything that was "d3d9" to "d3d8" and "d3dx9" to "d3dx8" , but after compiling I get about 1,3k errors (click here)

 

How can I downgrade the directx back to 8 ?

The lines were already changed ... And the minimap isn't showing yet

cz i dont think that this error is even coming from the bin

im possitve that i didnt change any thing (that consern the mini map) and its working normaly

how ever this is a common problem

try to download directx9

maybe there is a dll missing on your pc etc

try to download directx9

maybe there is a dll missing on your pc etc

 

The minimap bug only happens on AMD/ATI Video Cards, you probably have an Nvidia Card.

then is it meanen less to have  directx9 for metin2?

sence you cant possibly make it work for every one (so far)

but i think downloading nivedia card shall fix it (driver) or some dll i dont remember

you said it your self .its a card it can be bouth anywere .even in africa -.-(i dont mean anything by this) .  and there is a already a public fix for this
