[Error] compile source

I'm having trouble compiling my source I get this error when I give gmake:

this is because the compiler we use is g++. this -std=c++14 is a commands for g++ (g++ is gcc for c++) to set the compilation standard. 

 

Do you have gcc6 installed?

how do i see if gcc6 is installed?
