Looking for server and client source code

Hello everyone! I'm a software developer and I'm really new here so I'm searching for source codes to setup my own server and experiment with it. At the moment, I'm lost because there are various posts offering source codes for clients/servers but most of the are outdated, or others that don't offer source code. I would REALLY like to know the current trends on Metin2 servers and what are some popular components that are used.
