Winter 0 Posted June 9, 2016 Share Posted June 9, 2016 Hello everyone, I have 3dsmax7 and 3dsmax8 and I have the same issue in both. I would like to create new armors, but when I import the .gr2 and run the gr2.ms file, it is fallen apart. I use EterNexus version 1.0.3.1. and I use grnreader.exe for the extractions of the files. In all tutorials the bones and mesh import into 3ds normally, so I am not sure what the problem is. If it is supposed to look this way, and I move the mesh onto the bones by hand, can I rig without having problems? If anyone has coordinates for putting them together please let me know (currently it is X:0, Y:0, Z:0 for both but they are not in the same place). I attached a picture to be more clear. Kenin123 5 Posted June 9, 2016 Share Posted June 9, 2016 the model for the armor is alright, you just have to move the bones. make sure you center the pivot of the bones once. then 270° rotate Z and then move +100 Z and dont forget move x and y 0 because after centering the pivot its not exactly 0 anymore.
