Website database in Freebsd mysql server

Hey lads!

I got a little question for the experts.

I'm working on a new Metin2 CMS but is it handy to add the website's database to the mysql server from the game server(In Freebsd server).

Would it slow the game down? or would it overload the mysql server? i need to know what could happen?

If you don't set up correctly your game machine and mysql-server you may have some performance problem, security risk and too many connection on your mysql-server which can prevent the creation of new connections also by the game.

The best things is to separate website and game and setup the correctly permission on the mysql users.
