Windows client with a launcher that updates itself: download it once, and the game keeps itself up to date after that.
No empty pockets and no tutorial chores: every new character gets a kit that carries it through the early levels.
+9 weapon and armour, worn from level 1.
The Armoured Horse from the first minute (right-click the Armed Horse Book, then Ctrl+G to ride).
Sun and Moon Elixirs: 7,000,000 HP and 700,000 mana of automatic healing.
Unlimited Bravery Cape: gather the monsters around you as often as you like.
Teleportation Ring: free teleports, and your storage wherever you stand.
Newcomer's Blessing until level 30: double EXP, faster movement, +50% HP, +30 defence and +20% damage against monsters.
Beat the giant that hunts right outside town, or 8 Wild Dogs, and you jump straight to level 5.
Loot without the fuss: Yang goes straight into your bag, and one press of Z picks up everything around you.
Your shop stays open when you log off: type /shop or click the Bundle icon under the minimap.
Shops that make sense: dealers sell every weapon and armour piece up to level 60, and the General Store has switchers, bonus adders, Blessing Scrolls and elixirs for Yang. Your Yang buys real progress.
Less waiting: hand in research to the Biologist without the 30-minute wait, reach Master skills at 17 points and train them more often.
Every monster drops what matters at its level, and nothing you would throw away.
More Metin stones: half as many again on the early and middle maps, three times as many from level 75, and they come back sooner.
Gear worth keeping: champions, bosses and Metin stones drop weapons and armour for their level at +4 to +7, each with a bonus.
Made for your level: upgrade materials, spirit stones and Blessing Scrolls for your level, and skill books always for your own class.
1 in 4–5 normal monsters drop something useful, 2 in 3 champions, and bosses and Metin stones every time.
From level 30 up, also Exorcism Scrolls, Concentrated Reading, Soul Stones, Dragon Scrolls, Enchant and Reinforce items.
No filler: potions and return scrolls are gone from monster drops; the shops and your starter kit cover them.
Monsters drop a mystery box now and then, and every Metin stone drops one. Open it, trade it or sell it.
Emerald: common, sells for 3,000 Yang.
Sapphire: rare, sells for 30,000 Yang.
Amethyst: very rare and announced to everyone, sells for 150,000 Yang.
Citrine: from every Metin stone, sells for 5,000 Yang.
Rewards grow with the level of the monster or stone: upgrade materials, spirit stones, skill books for your class, Blessing Scrolls, Soul Stones and Yang. Jackpots include Reinforce Items, +4 spirit stones and more chests.
Evenfall hour: every evening, 20:00–22:00 Irish time (21:00–23:00 CET), +50% EXP for everyone online. The best time to play, and the easiest time to find a party.
Metin rush: Saturdays at the same time, extra Metin stones and double drops across the maps, on top of the Evenfall hour.
Daily bounties from level 10: hunt 200 monsters and 3 Metin stones near your level for Yang. Finish both for a bonus of Yang and EXP.
Vote daily, get coins: one click on each list, once a day. Every vote earns free Evenfall Coins on your account, and seven days in a row pay a bonus.
The Evenfall Store: outfit sets, pets and mounts with real bonuses, each one shown exactly as it looks in game. Wear them for 3 days or 7 days, or keep them for good.
Discord: find a party for tonight, get event news first, and ask anything in #open-a-ticket, in English or Spanish.
Your account: create it at evenfall99.com. The same username and password work on the website and in the game.
Your client: download the full Windows package once and extract the whole ZIP into a new folder.
Your first evening: open Evenfall99.exe (the dragon in the gold diamond) and press Play. Choose CH1 and log in with your website username and password.
Tip: when you create your character, pick Jinno (the blue kingdom). That is where most players are, so finding a party is easy.
