  1. Hello, thanks for your answer, but i feel a bit confused, could you example how this works?, how can I implement it and use it? thanks
  2. Hello, I'm curious if anyone has managed to achieve a seamless hot reload experience with Python—similar to the hot reload feature available in Visual Studio 2022 for C++. Instead of having to close, package, and reopen the client each time, is there a way to update the code on the fly with Python? If so, how can I replicate this setup?
  3. Hello Thanks for answering me, so TMP4 is the way to go?, I would loved to get a client that is already preconfigured to be the server working on windows by default, and I wanted something that didn't have already systems on it, but fixed and clean, what could you suggest? thanks
  4. Hello, thanks for answering, I would love to know which source should I get started, I don't want something that is full of no sense or it's using some unknown UTF, what could you suggest, And I wanna know how to make a custom Metin that drops different things, but I cannot find anything.
  5. Hi, this will solve my problem as I want the server to be X64 on Windows for better debugging, and could you Link a some guidance on how to start developing and understanding how to make metins, items and systems, and If there any way of doing hot reload with python in any way?
  6. It's just for fun I don't wanna spend money
  7. Yes, I prefer to be windows, I don't really care to make it as production, I just don't want a VM running on my system, I prefer something that I click and it will run easly without using FreeBSD, it's just for debugging, and if there is any source that supports what I want to do, please link it up
  8. Hello, I'm interested in working with Metin2, but it seems that most of the resources available in 2025 are outdated. Are there any good sources or servers that run on Windows x64 and use modern, up-to-date software for a more efficient experience? I came across a Turkish source that runs on Windows Server 2022 and is built for x64 architecture. It has a solid foundation, though it becomes obsolete over time. It appears that Metin2 can't be easily modernized using a more advanced approach.
  9. Using this I can make my own systems easly?, correct?
  10. Hello, dear. I realize I may not have explained myself clearly. What I would like to know is: Which source files I need to focus on the most. Where to start in understanding the structure. Which files are essential for making changes or adding features. Could you provide some guidance? Thank you!
  11. Hello everyone, I'm new to Metin2 development and have never worked with its client or server source code before. I'm eager to learn how to create custom content like systems, events, new weapons, and more. However, I find myself overwhelmed and unsure of where to start. I understand that Metin2 uses C++, Lua, and Python, but I'm unclear on how these languages interact within the game's architecture. While I've come across some guides, they often assume a level of familiarity I currently lack. I truly enjoy programming and have a passion for working on classic games like Metin2. However, as someone essentially starting from scratch in this area, I'm struggling to grasp the fundamentals of the codebase and its structure. If anyone could point me toward comprehensive guides, resources, or offer advice on getting started, I would
