    I got the same problem with Noesis and I think that the problem is about your 3DS max version, which version do you use ?

  3. It's a very original and simple game at the same time.

    The universe was quite original back at the time, the gameplay is fun and enjoyable (one of the best in the mmorpg scene).

    If u give metin2 a good graphical update, the original story of the game + more classes and more possibility of customization, the game will rise again.

    Regarding the map divides, the current standard is to use the best possible place on each maps. Regardless where it is located on maps, and how you want to divide the empires. 

    If the main goal is, to completely separate the empires, you need to rework all the current maps a bit, also you have to completely rework every regens. From a player perspective, I wouldn't want to be killed all the time on low levels, so it would make sense to separate maps in low level, and let the players fight for good places on higher levels. I haven't seen yet any server to work on empires as the part of the gameplay, so I can't tell you an example. And those players for sure would questioned the higher rates or empire specific events. Players only care about the best available options, in every segments of the game. It's not the same game as it used to be, players are not exploring anything, they just rush as fast as possible. So if a certain empire gives even 1% advantage in anything, you can be sure that 90%-of players will go there. But i'm still kinda optimistic, that with a good gameplay plan you can kinda balance out the empires. But let's be honest, private servers don't give a shit about it, it takes time and tests. And players don't care either. So why would they care?

    It's not that players don't give a shit about it.

    How can player say that he don't love it if he not tried it ? 

    The main problem is that basics privates servers doing well so why do we need to put more work ?

    I mean I already played some servers a bit of time, yeah u get into it but for a short amount of time because u do the same things every single day.

    Make a good storyline and reworking the metin2 universe with news things to do like the Empire Battle (not only a empire battle where u need to kill others peoples is too common), I mean where is the innovation into that ? Players are stopping one after one but with news ideas u can bring news players.

  5. 3 empire is the best option for me.

    But for that u need to implement a gameplay that worth to be part of an empire.

    The game was created for 3 empire with emperors at their heads.

    Territory wars, empire wars and all the others events, not many servers use these systems.

    What I want to say is that metin2 can also be a strategy game.

    Elect your emperor, go to war to get territory, make alliance with another empire to beat the most powerful Empire.

    But if there are only 2 Empire the game will not be as fun, that will erase all the soul of the game I think.

    There is many thing to create better than 2 empire fighting for nothing or only empire fighting against Evil.

    Even guild can be part of this, the better guild hire the emperor and ect u know what I mean there.

    paste the texture into the right Path for example D : ymir work \ Item \ yourfolder \ yourtexture.dds

     

    also just paste the texture From the Right Path into 3dsmax

     

    pack those into your client or use it directly while have the path active

    to apply textures right:

     

    use the path D:\ymir work\item\

    in that folder your texture should be there, just drop the texture from there onto your texturewrapper into 3dsmax and export the granny file, test it ingame not on the gr2viewer cause often windows just dont reloading the caches from the textures. "means your granny viewer will show you for example its white or its black but if you look under textures you see that your texturepath is right" just pack all the stuff into your client with the right paths and it should work

    also check that the granny version is the same as your exporter is cause if you have like exporting 2.9 and your client is using in the granny.dll the version 2.4 it might be invisible if you have more questions about it dc: ToXiC4k#9214

    I have a problem with using .dds files on 3DS max.

    When i applying a texture on my model it's work but i can't see it.

    When I export it, that give me a non-textured model like this:

    If someone can help me, i would be grateful, thank's a lot !
