So i have a small problem mostly due to my lack of knowledge about source for Metin2. Im using 40k Source for my server and i would like to edit things like: - change max level from 105 to 180 - add so that Yang cannot be dropped on the floor - 100% for stone to be attached - 100% skill P at 17 - Remove 3% Tax - Remove x3 price in different kingdome However i have no idea where i am supposed to add or edit such thing since this is Source i know that i can't just use Diffs. I know tha ti have a directory where the source files can be found via FTP: Would someone be able to explain where to start or what programs i will need or link a detailed tutorial on how to edit metin 40k source ? Hello and thanks for visiting I'm new to creating Metin 2 servers and this is my first attempt at doing so, I have a small problem regarding prices in npc shops. Items like 1-4 bonuses, blessing marble, wind shoes etc. are priced at "0 yang" which makes them impossible to buy as value of an item in store cannot be "0" also whenever i change price of the items in Item_Proto via MySQL the changes are not saved even upon server restart.... All i'd like to know is how do i change prices of items like 1-4 bonuses, dragon blessings and other items which are in items shop on global servers.

Hi. I have a question regarding allowing other Admins to FTP into our private server... essentially my PC me and a group of friends have a small private server but they want to make changes to it as well and i want to allow them to FTP into the server however for some reason they are not able to connect. From what i understand since the server is hosted on my PC only i can FTP into it locally... Is there a way to allow other to be able to connect via FTP into a server which is hosted on my machine ? Just to add the server is not hosted on Dedicated IP.... its all done via hamachi

First of all welcome and thank you for visiting this topic. I am going to be honest and straight up with you guys, I am an absolute rookie/newbie whatever you want to call it... I am looking to start a small metin 2 private server which i can firstly get up and running on my PC and if everything works correctly i want to move to a VPS. I have only once managed to get one private server working by myself but it was on hamachi and i barely managed.... I would like to kindly ask if someone could provide me with some knowledge as support regarding server files and compatible game client which i could use to run with my server. I've searched through the forum but only found files which are apparently accessed through Putty - SSH. The only way i know how to create a server is with the use of VB & FreeBSD (the old way ?) hence why im asking for some information. Links to useful topics or server fines will be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone with experience in server creation is willing to help out, i am more than happy to perhaps recruit someone as a technician / admin Thank you in advance <3
