Connect connection refused

Hello guys,i have a problem and i can't seem to find it's root.

When i compile my db and my game file everything is good , works like a charm but on a inferior FREEBSD version ,when i try to put them on 9.2 32 bit it won't work. Any ideeas?

i've tryed reinstaling mysql , no succes, i've tryed to delete the .pid .err files and i also tryed to change the db port to another one what is the issue?

This is the error i'm getting with the compile game and db  :

SYSERR: Dec 27 17:15:09.23322 :: socket_connect: HOST localhost:11000, could not connect.

 

if i use my old game and db files it works.

Up,when i try with the same database but a diffetent backup it works,and i did that backup in the same way .

Check MySQL error log and db syserr and syslog. 

How did you make backups?

both backups are made by the default command tar cfzv mysql.tar.gz /var/db/mysql the log is full of this thing

You made backups incorrectly. To backup mysql you need to use special utility, like mysqldump or xtrabackup. Don't take backups from data directory!
