dRain02 0
So as the source has been published, it's possible to improve the graphics engine of metin2 (as it is pretty outdated). so my question is: do i also have to change things in the serverside part? i think yes, but i'm not sure, as my programming skills are not that advanced yet. Chun-Chun 60
Why adapt metin2 to another engine? It would be more easier to remake it from 0 on another engine. But you need quite some money and good programing skills. It has already been done on hero engine by magictomaster dev. team.
RoxaLyssa 313
I think there is no problem with the granny engine, lot of famous games use that (for example the Battlefield series), so maybe something is f*cked up somewhere else in the client by Ymir...
dRain02 0
hm okay.. it's not like i need unreal engine 4 but higher quality models, speedtree7, better rendering, etc
Evor 72
It isn't granny fault. Look at rendering engine -> DirectX (version 8) We should accuse direct for such a shitty graphic.
PATRON2 0
done and further painting reverts to old dx12 More improvements will be made like this image quality is poor, everything is clear in reality
