BloodHungry 1
Hello @ all, I didn't worked on private servers since... idk.. a long time Now I want to create a new Server for me and some firends. First it will only be a Hamachi-Server (maybe later a root if we want more players, idk). I tried some Viruz-Files but some difs don't work (maybe modded game?) so I tried to use a vanilla-core.(2.4.1) I updated FreeBSD etc but at the end there was a Problem if I want to start the server Problem: maybe use Internal-Ip-Fix in configs? Till now I couldn't solve the problem on my own and because I don't realy a fan of these files I wanted to ask what's your opinion? Which files should I use? Vanilla core would be nice i think (version 2.6) Edited August 26, 2022 by Metin2 Dev Core X - External 2 Internal

BloodHungry 1
If I want to deinstall mysql55-server: "shared objekt 'libz.so.5' not found, required by 'mysql'" Maybe it's easier/faster to make it completly new?^^ (did nothing, only updated FreeBSD and vanilla-core2.4.1)
Premium r00t 123 Posted March 3, 2015 Premium Share Posted March 3, 2015 First of all... vanilla core is a 40k server file so you can't use it on hamachi. About your problem... delete all files in /var/db/mysql/mysql (files... not folder ) and reboot
Syron 297
First of all... vanilla core is a 40k server file so you can't use it on hamachi. About your problem... delete all files in /var/db/mysql/mysql (files... not folder ) and reboot Totally not true. You can run any files on hamachi / local network For you problem , try to restart the MySQL service completely. service mysql-server stop cd /var/db rm -rf mysql service mysql-server start Then run 'mysql' command and create your own user & grant privileges to it.
BloodHungry 1
Did it like you said, but after 'service mysql-server start': "/usr/local/etc/rc.d/mysql-server: WARNING: failed precmd routine for mysql" and if I also use 'mysql' after it again "Shared object ... " Maybe really do everything again but deinstall mysql bevor updating (think then there will be noch problem?)
Syron 297
Then , reinstall MySQL by complete uninstall MySQL. (server+client) cd /usr/ports/databases/mysql51-server && make deinstall cd /usr/ports/databases/mysql51-client && make deinstall Depends on which MySQL version you run. ( 5.0 / 5.1 / 5.2 / 5.3 / 5.4 / 5.5 / 5.6 ) Then install only server ( it will automatcly install client too ) cd /usr/ports/databases/mysql55-server && make WITH_XCHARSET=all install clean
BloodHungry 1
Okay, thank you... Seems like mysql can be deinstalled now... (with my last tries this doesn't work) Edit: But if i try to install a new version: "mysql-client ist installed.." Syron 297
Install pkg: type 'pkg' Take these libs and put them in /usr/lib or /usr/lib32 ( depends on your system ) https://mega.co.nz/#!zRcjVapY!N7TyJ_GEAB27lz9UjF8vpgHmoO1T1oyQwk-40O1XAMk
BloodHungry 1
Okay, now I can type 'service mysql-server start' without error, but if i want to do something (for example set a password to a mysql user) the same error with 'libz.so.5' appears again... If I want to start the Server the same error like bevor appears... Maybe it's really easier to make everything new? (maybe also use other files, i would prefer this I think [because I don't know how trustfull these files are also if the known backdoor is removed]) And: Thanks for your help. (have to go afk for some time..)
BloodHungry 1
Sorry for posting twice, hope it's okay because now there is another problem. I thoght it would be faster if I install everything new. So I first deinstallen mysql, updatet FreeBSD, installed mysql5.6 and made the mysql-user (username and password from the configs). Now there ist no mysql-error. But if I start the Server (not installed vanilla-core! at the moment only updatet FreeBSD and reinstalled mysql) no error appears. The problem ist that the server doen't really starts. It looks like these: Edited August 26, 2022 by Metin2 Dev Core X - External 2 Internal
Solution V1ru7 3 Posted March 4, 2015 Solution Share Posted March 4, 2015 Hello i'm VIRUZ, the files are outdated, so it would be helpful for me and for you if you would use my new Files. You can find them on YouTube because i don't want to post a Link here. The Problem in your screenshot is the TimeBomb. You could use the TimeBomb fix, but it would be better to use the new files. If you have any further questions feel free to contact me here or in Skype. Regards, VIRUZ
