takbardzo 19
Hello, I have a small problem when editing the client. Whenever I unpack the item_proto using EPack32 and repack it even without changing anything, I get this error. 0715 11:22:06127 :: CPythonItem::LoadItemTable: invalid item_proto[locale/pl/item_proto] STRIDE[152] != sizeof(SItemTable) 0715 11:22:06128 :: LoadLocaleData - LoadItemProto(locale/pl/item_proto) Error The game crashes. How do I fix it?

I mean the client proto, bruv! 9 hours ago, arves100 said: Check GameLib\ItemData.h if item proto structure is the same of the unpacker Thanks, unfortunately I have no acess to the unpacker/packer source so I cannot verify or edit. Update: When I unpacked it using Metin2dev archiver it gave me an output of .xml, not .txt file which I was able to edit and repack later. The client worked, but some of the values (like Specular) didnt work and there was no effects of Specular etc. Seeking for further help. If it does matter, here is my SItemTable structure: DWORD dwVnum; DWORD dwVnumRange; char szName[ITEM_NAME_MAX_LEN + 1]; char szLocaleName[ITEM_NAME_MAX_LEN + 1]; BYTE bType; BYTE bSubType; BYTE bWeight; BYTE bSize; DWORD dwAntiFlags; DWORD dwFlags; DWORD dwWearFlags; DWORD dwImmuneFlag; DWORD dwIBuyItemPrice; DWORD dwISellItemPrice; TItemLimit aLimits[ITEM_LIMIT_MAX_NUM]; TItemApply aApplies[ITEM_APPLY_MAX_NUM]; long alValues[ITEM_VALUES_MAX_NUM]; long alSockets[ITEM_SOCKET_MAX_NUM]; DWORD dwRefinedVnum; WORD wRefineSet; BYTE bAlterToMagicItemPct; BYTE bSpecular; BYTE bGainSocketPct;

takbardzo 19
It's all good now however there are no special language characters. How was it packed? Repacking the proto you gave me, even using epack32 crashes the game.

Premium r00t 123 Posted July 16, 2016 Premium Share Posted July 16, 2016 If you like db, is a good idea use DBManager (tool that you can find in source everywhere on web) that allow you to obtain txt from db so you have to modify only db
