  1. Metin2's last year was 2015, the year when you could have over 2000 players connected simultaneously. Right now, the remaining servers are dead with less than ~300 players connected.

My question to developers here is where did you move your interests now? (other games servers, programming, developing your own game...)

  2. My game build don't save player position and items.

from this line I understand that the problem isn't the DB but the mysql server it's a 56 not 55 there is a line you have to adjust for the mysql-server56 search in the forums and you'll get your answer.

Yeah, you are right, I have mysql56. I'd be grateful if you give me the link. Thanks!

    Edit:

SYSERR: Jul  8 23:24:07 :: ChildLoop: AsyncSQL: query failed: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '.xxx.xxx, '')' at line 1 (query: INSERT INTO loginlog2(type, is_gm, login_time, channel, account_id, pid, ip, client_version) VALUES('INVALID', 'Y', NOW(), 1, 1, 1, xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, '') errno: 1064)

    This error in syserr...

  3. Both of you are totally wrong , as a system needs to run like , 400-500 MB of RAM , to compile a game source you need 3 or more GB OF RAM

Or you can buy one with 2 and you can make a page file that it'll make 4.

? With 512 RAM , you will be happy if you will get your server running , we're not talking about players because it's not the case.

About windows , i'm not sure if you're buying an VPS but it sounds like one and it's not worth it's money .

A virtualization costs time , space , and brain to make it work , so i don't suggest using this.

If you can give us the site from where you're trying to buy a vps ,we'll be glad to help you .

Why am I wrong? I didn't said to compile the source on vps. He can build the source on his PC and use it on vps without a virtual machine. But, you're right, it's not worth it's money.
