Hello Community ! I hope you are having a good time as me ! Just back from trip ( ).

 

Let's start, the questions are about the source...

 

1. If am idiot but I want to start doing server on source do I have to know something? Or no, idiot like me can start making awesome stuff without knowledge. 

2. Is it hard to complie source to client? ( I don't understand this question, just write yes or no )

3. Better source or game? ( I know source = cool of new things, game=old unfashioned shit) I already did server on game files many times but am planning to do a bit of upgrade. 

4. How much space do I need to make a source server?

5. Is there is something like virtual box with source installed inside?

I`m not a pro, but:

1. You need to know C++.

2. I don`t know too. =

3. In short - Game is packed source code.

4. file size will get biggr if you add new code, so it`s not to much needed  on your disc space.

5. I don`t know too. =
