Guys i have a big problem my self compiled game doesnt start at all, no syserr or syslog being generated also limit time is completely removed from my source. I've been trying for the 3rd day now i cant do anything to fix it. Please i need help

I've been trying to install boost 1.59 on FreeBSD 10.x for more than 4 hours to no avail..i followed the instructions from here which simply say:

The most reliable way to get a copy of Boost is to download a distribution from SourceForge:

Download boost_1_59_0.tar.bz2.

In the directory where you want to put the Boost installation, execute

tar --bzip2 -xf /path/to/boost_1_59_0.tar.bz2

I did that however the boost directory doesn't even create. What's the most proper way I can install the latest boost version?

Rlly :s after i finally installed it after 2+ days..well, vanilla core for instance has very good performance and it's compiled with gcc49 and even vanilla herself advises that we use gcc49 for compilation so i cant see where the problem is, according to ur emphasizing to NEVER use it. However im aware of the arguments surrounding this topic regarding the performance of the two and how Freebsd dropped the gcc49 in favor of clang.

So the only way I have if I still want gcc49 is through the port? This also raises another question as to how did Vanilla for instance compile her core with gcc49 then if it's broken/incomplete as u said? Through port installation, right? I want switching back to gc48 be the last resort..I'm somewhat hopeful that it may finish soon.. :/

I started the installation of gcc49 early this morning at around 6 AM and now its been more than 12 hours and its STILL installing !!??!! what the hell could i be doing wrong? and how long did it take u when u came to install it?? The machine I'm running is FreeBSD 10.2 and it has 40GB of storage and 915MB of RAM assigned to it..also i noticed that unlike most of the FreeBSD versions i worked with, this one (10.2) did not have gcc4.2 installed on it by default, looks like it got deprecated or something. So maybe that's why its taking so long? Because theres no gcc base to build on so its doing everything from scratch?

edit2: Actually I'm using item_proto and mob proto from the leaked SG files "fromchiawithlove" if u know what i mean. But the itemproto keeps generating the following error in db syserr:

i tried to repair and restart mysql but problem is still persistent. Im using SG database structure. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
