Best Files or way to start new?

Hey guys.

 

I just wanted to make a private server for myself.

I haven't been hosting or working on serverfiles for like 2 years.

 

I did read a lot, but I am still not sure what's really important to know.

I found the vanilla core, which does look really well, but is half a year old.

 

Another question I have.

Are these sources () the sources from vanilla or any other acceptable source with many features?

 

Is there any Client, which I could use with the newest files?

 

I hope you guys want to help meh.

Vanilla didn't release her source I guess.

 

But you can use your own game based on sources on 2014 serverfiles.

But there are the most features missing like 4 inventory pages and bug fixes, arent they?

Don't use vanilla dude that's crap.

Also is way better to compile your own source than use existing core that's isn't open-sourced.  You will have to make fixes with difs which is kinda pointless..

I will use my own core, I already found out how to work with it. Isn't that difficult as I expected
