well truth bez told im a very old user of Vbox

but i usualy use only hamchi but i trid hard and and i made it work with router (wifi connection isnt the same as cable or at least not 100%)

well i have wifi i only set the network to my wifi adabter

then start my freebsd

then go to the router config page (192.168.1.1) and enter DHCP

on your FreeBSD :

$ : sysinstall

configuration

networking

if you dont see it keep getting down

ip get way : your modem/router config page (i have 192.168.1.1)

if no go get it

from your router go to DHCP you should find one with the name (the host) // the same as befor

copy it to the ip address

the netmask shoud be

255.255.255.0

the same as in the pic

the last one let it empty

then OK

and get out of the configuration

reboot

this should do it

// opning port for your pc ip not for the Vm ip and use (192.xx.xx.xx not 41.xx.xx.xx)

for ftp

open port 21

sft

open port 22

metin2 port should be on your config file for each channel and dont forget channel 99 and the auth

well on the root use the ip that is on the ip  v4 address on the root

Now, when i do " portsnap fetch extract" it runs normally, but when i use the " make -DBATCH install clean " it says that:

its recommended to up date to 8.4 then 9.0 then 9.2

or 8.4 to 9.2 any way i dont think you can update derectly

Try doing freebsd-update fetch install and then update to 8.4

Well, it started to download the 8.4 release, i hope it works with the other releases too after that thank you, i'll say something after it install the 8.4 release

It has nothing installing when i get down xD i go down and it gets up again, like another page, but the first page had like 17000

files, and the second one has like 380000 files and in the end of all the files it has nothing, it is just like, waiting for a command :/

I already searched in youtube for a video on how to install freebsd9.2 in a metin2 server, but i found nothing, only in deutch but i dont understand anything ><

I found a video too, on how to install freebsd 9.2 and the metin2 files form the zero... but when the video started, the guy had already the putty on, and with something running, i dont know what it was... i cant get the link of the video now because i'm in school, but i'll try to edit that post later, and then i'll post the link here.
