Creating new libraries for LUA scripts

Hi !

I want to create a script that will use a lot of functions, so i think that c or c++ will be faster and lighter than a pure LUA script.

I'll use the rev40k.

I don't want to add these functions in the source code because i'll use them only in this script.

 

Now my question: How i can create a library written in C/C++ and use its functions in a LUA script?
