The game is not the only part you can use from the files. Thanks for the work. And why not work with rain-files I kinda liked them very much.

You need to set up a network connection in Virtual Box: Select Network Card instead of Hamachi. Basically it will be a home root (search that for more tutorials). After you installed everything switch back to hamachi. If you have a Hamchi Server the only Network it can connect to is the Hamachi Network. And because no website or service is and ever will be in your network, you can't download stuff.
