Connecting to the server.. (Noob question)

Hi.

I think it's a noob question but when I try connecting to my server with official client, it says "connecting.." & this appears on serverside. I remember/think it's about pong or something but that's because I stopped dealing with metin2 2 years ago and became a noob again.

If you use 2008 serverfile, use 2008 client.

If you use 2011 serverfile, use 2011 client.

 

(I think you use 2008 serverfile and 2010-11 client. It's not compatibile)

it might be as well an error on you client (root/intologin.py)

if you have this syserr

My serverfile & FreeBSD are old & I tried logging in with Metin2 Korea 2012 client. I have no error in syserr.

I also tried the "current en client" here and without_pong acted like this(I can be wrong but it didn't connect) with_pong exe worked(only for female shaman & warrior. Also It didn't show any items in my inventory.)

I tried updating my FreeBSD to install a new game but it gave me an error like "can't find servers giving up".

So I'll download a new vhd and try again.

Yes, profizocker v2 is 2008 serverfile. Korea 2012 client is not compatibile with profizocker v2.

Use Franzi serverfiles with 2012 Korea client, or search for 2008 client if you wan't use Profizocker serverfiles.

I can still use 2012, I unpacked 2013 files when server was open (at least I still have an open folder but idk if it contains them lol) but idk how to make new things run on older like root & locale changes for dance_6.
