  1. We had OVH - INFRA 2 if I remember correctly. That's enough for the majority of servers.
  2. Just by adding maps and items randomly won't make your server successful. You have to have a concept. And if your concept is far away from the audience then you can't do much about it. It's hard to be successful when you have so many servers nowadays. Everyone can add plechito stuffs and maps. It's not 2010 anymore, you have to catch the players with something else. Not sure about your marketing strategy, but that could be one of the reason why you won't succeed in numbers. Just by adding "stuffs" to your server won't make it better. It's usually worst if you don't pay attention. You have to see that the majority of the casual players are actual workers. They have jobs and often family. If you take out the itemshop completely they won't be able to play. They can't sacrifice that much time as a regular player. So they pay with money instead of time. And it's your job as an owner to balance the itemshop to be fair with non spenders and casual players who actually spend money. It's partially true. The actual "work for it" part still works. But the ways changed during the years. Players won't explore the world anymore and spend days killing random stuff to find out which mobs drops what. You can give them start items but it depends on the server you have. And they can still feel that they earned their items if you challenge them on the right part of the game. It's usually the late game tho. Regarding the web, I would suggest you to hire someone to create a good design for you. For Web and for patcher as well. Add some quality of life features to your game. Make it easier to understand what's going on on your server. Do proper announcements. Think about your marketing carefully. Hire competent team members. And have a plan. That's the most important. Plan your server carefully and listen to the feedbacks.
  3. The fact that everyone can play it. It's easy to understand, not skill based, and if you had a privilege to play the game back in time around 2010 or so, you must have good memories. Actually the memories makes it good. The game itself is boring if you played it for a while. You can't improve after a certain point. So you repeat the same stuff.
  4. All depends on how you want to build your gameplay. It can be 2 or 3, but for sure not 1 and not more than 3. Regarding the map divides, the current standard is to use the best possible place on each maps. Regardless where it is located on maps, and how you want to divide the empires. If the main goal is, to completely separate the empires, you need to rework all the current maps a bit, also you have to completely rework every regens. From a player perspective, I wouldn't want to be killed all the time on low levels, so it would make sense to separate maps in low level, and let the players fight for good places on higher levels. But as I said, it's mainly a gameplay question. But if you keep the concept original, for sure it's better to stay with 3 empires. I haven't seen yet any server to work on empires as the part of the gameplay, so I can't tell you an example. But the empire specific events would be a problem I guess, as lot's of people in the game is in guild, or married, so they can't change empire so easy. And those players for sure would questioned the higher rates or empire specific events. Players only care about the best available options, in every segments of the game. It's not the same game as it used to be, players are not exploring anything, they just rush as fast as possible. So if a certain empire gives even 1% advantage in anything, you can be sure that 90%-of players will go there. But i'm still kinda optimistic, that with a good gameplay plan you can kinda balance out the empires. But let's be honest, private servers don't give a shit about it, it takes time and tests. And players don't care either. So why would they care?

    Big crash

It's called test for obvious reasons. Once they get sorted the landing part, it will be fine. They already did with Falcon 9. And don't forget that financially they are stable now, so they can invest as much as it needed. Musk's priority to become a Multi-Planetary Species.

  8. Clearly, you have no idea what the hell are you talking about. Maybe your Google translate is wrong or something, I don't know, and I don't care. Who the hekk told you that you work with Gameforge? Clearly, you will never work with them, as you have some mental problem. Referring to your misterious Aeldra shutdown, belive me, so many people report so many server every single day. You are not special, and you have to deal with it. You are just a random person in the queue, who think that made a change. But obviously doesn't. Get your head out of your back part my friend, and think again your bullshit.
  9. Thank's God, we have a superhero here, in our forum! I can truly say, that thanks to your hard work, and all your professional and even more detailed reports to Gameforge, Aeldra went down. It's your achievement. No one can take it from you. You was so damn good, and your words was sharper than a Hattori Hanzo sword. Please, keep doing that, I believe in you. You will save the Metin from apocalypse, and your name will be in the history books. I also think, that Gameforge should hire you, as a professional server reporter. What a great opportunity would be, for such a narcisstic, deluded, pathetic, WANNABE person. God bless you, my friend.
  10. Wait a sec. Are you playing on GF servers, or some kind of pvp server? If GF, your suggestions will be deleted by them, they don't give a shit about it. If you play on private server, you can suggest to increase the damage of monsters, and you can safely say to implement AVG damage resistant. But there are many other ways to avoid these problems. critical/penetrate damage resistant for example. If you want to focus on skills, just tell them to increase the skill damages in certain classes. Or add some skill damage in certain item/biology/stone/dew/ etc. There are no limit if you play on private server. The problems are mostly owners/game developers without any clue of the game.
